Task achievement / response
This criterion is about how well you answer the question, cover the topic, and meet the word limit in your writing task. It is different for task 1 and task 2.
Coherence and cohesion:
This refers to how well you connect your ideas, sentences, and paragraphs in a clear and smooth way. It also means how well you use linking words, reference words, and paragraphing to guide the reader and avoid repetition.
Lexical resource
This refers to how well you use a wide range of vocabulary accurately and appropriately for different topics and situations. It also means how well you avoid errors, use collocations, and paraphrase words.
Grammatical range and accuracy
This refers to how well you use a variety of grammatical structures correctly and flexibly. It also means how well you avoid or correct grammatical errors.

IELTS writing is a test that measures your ability to write in English for academic or general purposes. The test consists of two tasks: task 1, where you have to describe, summarize, or explain some visual information, such as a graph, chart, table, or diagram; and task 2, where you have to write an essay on a given topic, such as an opinion, a problem, or a situation.
